Our art showcases are set up, and it’s time to introduce this week’s artist to you: Birgit Horn.
Birgit Horn lives as a contemporary artist in her studio near Hamburg.
Her artistic work expresses the personal, social and environmental challenges that people face today. She implements her ideas in painting through figurative scenes, often based on surrealism.
In addition, she designs and builds sustainable objects and pieces of furniture from recycled materials and has appeared several times on German television as an upcycling artist.
