Inspired by the bubbly, multicultural together at mosaique, the idea of an international music festival arose: in fall 2019 it will take place for the very first time!

International Music Festival from September 13 to October 5, 2019, in Lüneburg
The project team plans six concert evening at three locations. The concerts will be designed by artists of different nationalities and on the basis of voluntary donations.
You are all very welcome to join the concerts and meet the differents artists as well as to get to know the different music genres.
The Jazz Traveler
Ido Spak, pianist and composer with jewish-polyglott roots, combines ethnic music from the Middle East with European classic music, Klezmer, as well as his own jazz compositions.
13.09. 19 Uhr, Glockenhaus
jazz connects worlds
Lennart Meyer and his band – musicians from Georgia, Algeria, Turkey – sounds out the borderland between jazz and pop music. Jazz compositions are played with a pop approach and – e. g. – David Bowie and the Beatles are played in a jazzy style.
14.09. 19 Uhr, mosaique
Carribean fusion
The Cuban singer and guitarist Amed Soto Canizares (known from radio and TV in Cuba) brings the thrilling rhythms of his home and creates a fusion of Bolero, Son and Trova. All very danceable 🙂
22.09. 19 Uhr, Wasserturm
With the cello around the world
Hanna Rexheuser, concert cellist, far travelled, combines classic german music with french chansons, irish songs, country and much more, while showing how close the emotions carried beneath are.
28.9. 19 Uhr, mosaique

Shoko Kuroe, concert pianist and Marika Begemann, concert flautist, trace their japanese-german roots in their program and manage to bride Asian music and European classic.

Body - Language - Sound - Music
Ariel William Orah (media arts), Wout Geers und Christina Schray (dance performance) and Mehmet Şenol (sound concept) create an audio-visual live-performance with experimental, multicultural electronic music.
