Arabic 3-course menu with belly dance inbetween

The 27.04.19 the so-called Allerweltsfrauen, our weekly women’s meet up in mosaique (Frauentreff) went to the evangelic family education site (Ev. Familien-Bildungsstätte Lüneburg (FABS)) and cooked an arabic 3-course menu.

The first time a cooking afternoon for women took place in cooperation with the integration project “Über den Tellerand”. The project supplied all ingredients, beverages and a completely equipped kitchen on a donation basis. With more than 30 women and children, partly from the women arabic meet up Lüneburg  (Deutsch Arabisch Treff Lüneburg) we started cooking and baking after a short introduction round. We experimented with different preparation styles, cooked a huge pot of rice and exchanged recipes. Afterwards we ate and got to know each other better!

Small belly dance intersections as well as free dancing to arabic music ensured some inbetween exercise.

For those interested in cooking Taboulé, Mtabal and Ozzy at home by themselves, please contact allerweltsfrauen@mosaique-lueneburg.de and we will be pleased to send you the recipes!

We say thank you and are looking forward to the next time together with you!
